Establish and devise strategy and ensure used car sales goals are met by the used car sales staff that are consistent with the dealership standards of productivity.
  • Mentoring, coaching and training assigned used car sales staff to obtain sales goals.
  • Determining individual used car sales goals.
  • Leading/participating in weekly used car sales meetings.  Attending training and other meetings at Luther's home office as required.
  • Controlling department expenses and maintain acceptable CSI.
  • Meeting with the general manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis.
  • Ensuring used car sales staff are maintaining customer information in our contact management system.
  • Scheduling, monitoring and signing off on time and attendance schedules, and other systems. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the general manager. 


  • Proficient with Reynolds & Reynolds, VAuto or FirstLook Used Car Management System.
  • Proficiency obtaining used cars at auction, from online sources, service drive.
  • Adept at calculating leases.
  • Internet marketing skills.
  • Leadership experience, ability to mentor, guide and coach.
  • Professional, ethical, respectful.
  • Ability to respond to all personality types with professionalism.
  • Proficient computer skills including email and Internet.
  • Some college or college degree preferred.
  • Current, valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
